Revolutionary educators/activists Angela Davis and Marvin X have agreed to  an onstage conversation at a place, time and date to be arranged ASAP.

Gov. Ronald Reagan

In 1969, Governor Ronald Reagan removed Angela Davis from teaching at UCLA and Marvin X from lecturing at Fresno State University, the former because she was a Black Communist and the latter because he was a Black Muslim who refused to fight in Vietnam. The community is excited about this coming conversation, but they want Angela and Marvin to "keep it real, keep it 100!"

Angela Davis, Marvin X and Sonia Sanchez (Hapi 80th b day, Sonia! We love you madly!)

Marvin X was banned as a lecturer at Fresno State University, 1969

According to Jack Kelly, former police officer and founder of the Afro-American Museum in Fresno, "When Marvin X was teaching at Fresno State College/now University, he made things better for everybody, not only students at FSU. Before he came to FSU, Black police officers could not patrol the white side of town."
