The Stanley Nelson's documentary The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution, will be screened at the San Francisco Film Festival, Saturday, April 25, 2015, 3:00pm. Marvin X was interviewed for the film. He attended Oakland's Merritt College with Huey Newton and Bobby Seale. He introduced Eldridge Cleaver to the BPP: "Marvin X was my teacher. Many of our comrades came through his Black Arts Theatre: Bobby Seale, Eldridge Cleaver, Emory Douglas, Samuel Napier, Judy Juanita, JoAnn Mitchell, et al," said Dr. Huey P. Newton, co-founder of the Black Panther Party.
Eldridge Cleaver and Alprentis Bunchy Carter, boss of the Slauson Street Gang, later Chair of the Los Angeles chapter of the Black Panther Party. Cleaver and Bunchy served time together at Soledad Prison. George Jackson was there as well when the Black Culture Club was established with Cleaver and Bunchy as co-chairs. This club was the beginning of the American Prison Movement, spearheaded by North American Africans, the most oppressed group in the USA Babylon oligarchy!

In 1969, Gov. Ronald Reagan removed Angela Davis from lecturing at UCLA because she was a Black Communist. At the same time he removed Nation of Islam poet Marvin X from teaching at Fresno State University because he was a Black Muslim, additionally, he had refused to fight in Vietnam for America, along with Muhammad Ali and all followers of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Marvin X not only refused to serve but under the influence of the Black Panther Party, he resisted by going to exile in Toronto, Canada, then a second time in Mexico City and Belize, British Honduras. He was deported back to the United States and served time in Terminal Island Federal Prison for his resistance and refusal to serve the white supremacy army of the USA.
