For the first time in twenty years, the Berkeley Juneteenth and the Berkeley Flea Market will unite and merge into one event benefiting both organizations. We thank brother Marvin X for bringing the two groups together.

Berkeley Flea Market Rebirth: Reclaiming Community
Come experience what has made this Bay Area legacy so great for so many years (and for many years to come)… Culture and Community! This Grand Reopening will feature community guest speakers, live performances, spoken word artists, a farmer's market, free food and book give-away, board games, group interactive games, freestyle/Hiphop ciphers, contests, healthy eating demos, a children’s section and a video project entitled “What does the Flea Market Mean To You?” Hosted by KPFA’s Greg Bridges, featuring DJ’s Wazir Kabir and Juan Gomez spinning Soul, House and Afro-Beat.
