Parable of the Stray Cats

Now the man who loved stray cats lived alone, although he had been married many times before but like the cats, after the wives enjoyed his generosity they departed for even more generous habitats, especially since the man could sometimes be verbally, emotionally and even physically abusive. At least he treated his cats better than he did his women, for while the cats only took from him, the women gave to him all the love they could but he just never learned the lesson of reciprocity.
So the women departed and the stray cats arrived, sometimes two legged and some times four legged. The four legged cats never attacked him because he fed them well, plenty of cat food, but the two legged cats were a different matter. While he fed them well, when he abused them, they sometimes attacked him, once punching him in his eye and blinding him forever. The police came but wouldn't charge the two legged cat with partner violence after they checked his record and found he had a history of partner abuse.
After losing his eye, he was very upset with the police and the stray cat. He wanted to kill the cat but never saw the cat again. He had treated the two legged cat royally, gave her money for her children, herself, clothes, school clothes for her children, took her to art galleries, blues concerts, plays, but she suffered mental illness thus could not appreciate all he had done to raise her up from the low life of an alley cat. He learned her mother and grandmother were alley cats as well, thus, three generations of alley cats.
When the third generation alley cat put out his eye, his daughters were forced to do an intervention. They came to their dad and said, "Dad, no more stray cats, Dad, no more! Enough is enough, Dad. We love you, we know how you abused our mother but no matter, the time has come for you to leave stray cats alone.
So the man who loved stray cats had to listen to his daughters because he loved them so much and they loved him equally.
